Age Verification Policy

1) 21+ requirement

• By creating an account, entering promotions, or attempting to claim a prize, you confirm you are 21 years or older.
• We may block access where we reasonably suspect a user is under 21 or has provided inaccurate information.

2) How we prevent underage use

• Date-of-birth (DOB) collection and validation at sign-up and/or entry.
• Account controls to restrict access until required checks are completed.
• Monitoring for risk indicators (e.g., inconsistent DOB details, unusual activity, duplicate accounts).
• Where appropriate, additional verification before prize fulfilment.

3) Verification methods we may use

Depending on risk and the type/value of the prize, we may request one or more of the following:

• Re-confirmation of DOB and identity details.
• Document checks (e.g., NZ driver licence, passport, or other government-issued photo ID).
• Proof of address or other supporting information when needed to resolve discrepancies.
• Use of a verification provider to confirm age/identity (data used only for verification and fraud prevention).

4) If we suspect underage use

• We may suspend access, decline entries, and pause prize processing while checks are completed.
• If a user is confirmed to be under 21, we will close or restrict the account and may void entries or ineligible claims, consistent with our terms and applicable law.
• We may retain limited records to prevent repeat attempts and for compliance/fraud-prevention purposes.
